My name is Basia, my grandparents were Roman and Helena GLOWIAN. My mother Helena Glowian was born in Zalesie August 27, 1927. My mother died from cancer at age 25. She was taken from Wilno in 1942 as a German slave laborer. I have No family to ask about her and her family in Zalesie.
Where do I start to look for any records of her birth, she was Roman Catholic??
Any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated, I am 77 years old and would like to know about her and her family. Don't know what happened to her parents?

Helena's birth records shouldn't be available in historical archive yet due to 100 years has not yet passed since her birth. However wedding records are accessible till 1939. If you know Helena's maiden surname, you can try searching for the marriage record of her parents.
