Прыблізна паўтары кілометры на ўсход ад вёскі Сялец была вёска Вялігорка. Не стала на гэтым месцы вёскі ў гады калектывізацыі. Усюды дзейнічала адна схема: у больш зажытачных сялян адбіралі маёмасць, а саміх іх высылалі; больш бедных перасялялі ў месцы, дзе былі маёнткі і фальваркі, каб там арганізаваць камуны, калгасы і саўгасы. Вось і больш бедных сялян з вёскі Вялігорка перасялілі бліжэй да вёскі Сялец. Пасяліліся яны на правым беразе ручая, супраць Сяльца, які размяшчаўся на левым беразе ручая. Атрымалася, што новае пасяленне, як бы атрымалася паміж вёскай Сялец і маёнткам Акулічы, які быў побач. З аднаго перавезенага будынка зажытачнага сяляніна Вялігоркі ў вёсцы Сялец была пабудавана пачаткавая школа.reply
