Из материалов ревизской сказки 1816 года (НИАБ 333/9/95 лист 229,230)деревня принадлежала помещику Бухарину. На тот момент она называлась Песчанка. В деревне было 6 домов, где проживало 20 крестьян мужского пола и 13 женского. Фамилии - Староселец, Короткий и Ходар.
Из материалов ревизской сказки 1850 года (НИАБ 333/9/625 лист 202,203)деревню назвали Песчанская Рудня. В деревне было 7 домов, где проживало 20 крестьян мужского пола и 27 женского. Фамилии Староселец, Короткевич и Ходар.reply
