According to some old paperwork, my father Cheslaw Solarczyk was born in Krzywe-Siolo Distr. Wilejk pow. Your website is the only one that I found the name of the town. My dad always told me he was born in Poland (1933), but according to your map it is in Belarus. Just wondered if you knew anything about it. He lives in Texas, United States at this time.reply
Hello. This is not the locality where your father was born. You indicated that he is from the Wilejka pow., which means that your Krzywe Siolo is this https://www.radzima.net/be/miejsce/krzywe_siolo_3.htmlreply
Hello, Margie! Now this town is in Belarus, however your dad was right, if he was born in this town in 1933, that was Poland. You can check the history of this region in any sources, in Wikipedia, too. Just look for the Baranovichi district.reply
