Есть только предположение, достоверной информации нет. Поселение получило название от проживавшего тут одного из родственников Василия Шуйского вывезенного вместе с родственниками на территорию Польши после взятия Москвы поляками. Родственником был один их князей суздальских Ивана Пуговка. Рядом с этой деревней была еще одна деревня Сойчино, которая получила название в тоже время от Ивана Сойки - то ли еще один князь, то ли его приближенный. reply
