Деревня Овин упразднена. Территория, на которой находилась деревня, сейчас входит в состав Октябрьского района Гомельской области. Деревня находилась при автомобильной дороге Н4252 на участке Поречье-Хоромцы, примерно в 4-ех км от деревни Поречье. В настоящее время сохранилось озеро Овинское, в 1,5 км к северу от прежнего местонахождения деревни Овин. reply
