Hello. We are looking for information about the Jewtuszek family from Howiezna, Nowogrodek. The father was Theodor Jewtuszek and the mother’s maiden name was Aleksandra Kozlowska. During the Russian invasion in 1939 or 1940, the mother and three children were sent to a Soviet labour camp in Kazakhstan. We don’t know what happened to the father. The family was Catholic and the father’s mother was Jewish. We would like to know if there are any civil records or church records still in existence for this town that we are able to search ourselves. Is there a website for families seeking information about their ancestors from this area? Thank you fir your help.
