Mój pradziadek Józef Jurewicz urodził się w 1879 r. Ożenił się z Katarzyną z domu również Jurewicz. Mieli 12 dzieci, z czego 6 dożyła wieku dorosłego: Józef, Marianna, Julian, Hipolit, Felicja i Marian. Chyba żyli właśnie w Gumbaczach. Prababka Katarzyna zmarła gdzieś w latach 1930-40. Potem pradziadek drugi raz się ożenił, ale nie miał już dzieci. Cała rodzina wyjechała do Polski w 1945 r. i 1956 r. Pradziadek był bogatym gospodarzem, podobno nawet byli to potomkowie schłopiałej szlachty (ale to może legendy rodzinne :)
