I'm looking for any kind of information about my grandfathers family. His fathers name was Władysław Ponorad, as far as my knowledge goes he was born 20th of March 1920 in Dobrowicze village, Belarus. His parents names were Mikołaj and Paulina. reply

In the local church (Dolginowo Orthodox) there are some records with Ponorad surname but these are indexed only until 1900. For the later years you need to send a request to NIAB Minsk (but it’s on reconstruction now, so they will answer only in the year end). reply
