I am looking for information regarding my mother's birth which was registered as Choinka. My grandfather worked as a forester in the forests associated with Choinka. The family were Polish and of the Roman Catholic faith. I would like to be able to find where Choinka is on a map and the name of the associated Catholic parish and details of the church.
My grandfather is Michał Piotuch born 1897 in Smilovichi near Minsk. My grandmother is Antonina Barancewicz born in 1900 in the area south of Baranovichi. My mother Eugenia Piotuch birth place is registered as Choinka which I understand is a forestry grange. She remembers the house had wood mill attached. Her date of birth is 12 March 1929.
