My paternal grandfather and his family emigrated from Zhuravichi in 1904-1907 to the United States. Their surname was Kagan, and I had other ancestors from Zhuravichi with the suname of Melnick. My family emigrated to Greenville Township outside Port Jervis, NY, USA
