Hello David,
In respons to your story we would like to tell you our part of the history. My name is Janusz Gasperowicz, but my surname was originaly written as 'Kasparewicz', it was slightly changed by my father after WW2. I'm 65 years old and I live on Poland in West Pomerania region. My mother Helena and father Wiktor came from village Buni, my mother's surname was 'Babicz' and she was born in 1911 and my father was born in 1907. I visited Buni and this region in 1969 with my father who was still alive back then. My mother died in 1965 and fahter has passed away in 1990. During the WW2 my parents were moved as a compulsory workers to Germany. In 1947 they came back to Poland and settled down in the West Pomeranian region. My parents had a daugter Leokadia born in 1946 and a son (me) born in 1953. I'm looking forward to hearing from you! Kind regards, Janusz
