My grandfathers place of birth is noted as Wojcieszyn Kosow 1903.
My father and siblings have the same place of birth , however Wojcieszyn name doesn't
appear until 1920-1939 2nd Republic? What would be the names of towns to research before this to get birth certificates?reply
Hello. My dziadek Stanislaw Wolczecki was born in Ozierce in 1916. His birth was registered in Kosowskiej na Polesiu, born to Ludwik Wolczecki and Pawlina Henczel, they also had a daughter Danusha who died quite young. My great grandfather Ludwik Wolczecki died and Pawlina married her neighbour Victor Kostusik. I am trying to find any information I can on Ludwik Wolczecki, as I assume he died in the same area. I cannot find any records of the Henczel to Wolczecki marriage or records of Ludwik Wolczecki's death or buriel. Pawlina and my grandfather, along with children born to Kostusik eventually moved to Canada and Australia as the family was split during the war. Any information would be appreciated. My family tree is non existent on my grandfather's side and I would love to know more. Thank you for your help
